Fall 2012 Introductory Indonesian

Here’s an opportunity for students still looking for a class for fall:  Introductory Indonesian.   This beginning level course will be taught by Australian National University faculty member Amrih Widodo and IU Fulbright Scholar Mateus Yumarnamto using videoconference technology and live local instruction.  Details may be found in the attached and include:

 

COLL-C 100 (33349), Introductory Indonesian, 4 cr

COLL-C 500 (33350), Introductory Indonesian, 3 cr

 

TIME:  Mon thru Wed 4:00-5:00 p.m. & Thursdays, 4:00-6:00 p.m.

 

Location:  TBA

 

Permission:  Required.  Interested students should email panasia@iu.edu noting their interest and providing their UID numbers.

 

Students can continue their study of Indonesian in Spring 2013 and are also encouraged to consider participating in one of several study abroad opportunities noted in the attached flier – through participation in ANU’s In-Country Program, students could complete 2 years of Indonesian study in a total of three terms.  Your assistance in sharing this information with your students would be greatly appreciated and we would be pleased to provide any additional information you or your students may require.
